Note very long convergence line forming early in the day on the downwind slope of the Mendocinos. Later in the day it tends to move down the slope to the valley floor and become broken, with some new (and shorter) convergence lines forming in a direction perpendicular to the original line, roughly paralleling the flow. The line is more contiguous than would actually occur because the terrain has been purposely smoothed to produce a better "signal".
This is a Javascript animator so your browser must have Javascript enabled for it to work. Because of the large file sizes, it may take awhile for the files to be transferred to your browser cache. At first a single image will be displayed while the frame numbers repeatedly cycle - this is normal. Motion will begin as more images are downloaded, and eventually an image will appear for each frame number. Be patient!
